Thematic Mapping Demonstration

This demonstration shows the thematic mapping and selection capabilities of SpatialPoint's Atlas in conjunction with the MapPoint Web Service component of Microsoft Virtual Earth. Atlas extends the functionality of Virtual Earth by delivering robust mapping capabilities such as support for large and complex polygons, thematic shading, advanced object selection, and other advanced mapping capabilities. Follow The Game

Follow the Game is an example application that combines the use of SQL 2008 and SpatialPoints Atlas tool. We are creating driving routes that pass through coverage polygons and incorporating spatial information into the driving directions. Bing Coverage Locator

Here we provide an example Coverage Locator application that a wireless carrier could quickly and easily implement on their own site. CoverageWeb Demonstration

Gain a better view of the wireless service market. CoverageWeb combines the marketed coverage areas of every major US wireless carrier with detailed and cartographically superior MapPoint maps to enable quick visual analysis and compelling presentations. Polygon Drawing Demonstration

This demonstration shows the integration of client side polygon drawing and editing with the MapPoint Web Services. It shows how a feature rich GUI can now be built using AJAX and other Web 2.0 techniques. Click the "Launch Application" tab to open this application in a new window.

Wired Telecommunication Infrastructure Demonstration

This demo shows the capabilities to load data from other Geographic Information System (GIS) and/or Asset Management systems. The user can query the data and see detailed information about the particular asset (fiber line, manhole cover, etc.) While not demonstrated here, the system can also retrieve information from external databases such as IBM DB2, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, etc. "A system such as this can be used by engineering, field management, regulatory/compliance and sales and marketing departments."
